He worked on automation and conversational agents for several years before generative AI came on the scene. pipeIQ was born out of that experience. He is also an angel investor. Until 2014, he was a senior tenured professor of Computer Science at UC San Diego and holds more than 37,000 citations in peer-reviewed publications. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge
